christmas at home

Christmas at home on Thursday for us was opening gifts, drinking gimlets, and talking. It was lovely. The fire was actually part of my gift (a whole truckload full of firewood!). Though Andy's friends were skeptical that I would like this gift, I was very excited. I have been wanting a fire for a while now, but we never seemed to have time to find any wood. Thanks, hon!

A load of firewood sounds perfect for you, CP. Well done, Andy!

wood is excellent. i got cow manure and hubby's manual labor for Christmas. there's no better gift I could have gotten and I'm very excited about setting up a garden finally. i'm loathe to tell folks I got nothing but crap for Christmas, though.
